I am an independent national recording artist and songwriter born in Shelby, Mississippi and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I have been singing and writing since I was very young. To this day, I am the Worship Leader at The Highest Way

Ministry, Inc. in Canton, Texas led by my husband Pastor Johnny W. Luter II. As La La Musiq, I have written gospel songs and appeared in music videos for various local churches in the Dallas, Texas area. Although I am based in Dallas, I perform nationally. My debut album "Set Apart" has been recognized by The International Singer Songwriters Association which also includes winning the The 2020 ISSA Female Emerging Artist of The Year Award! In August 2021, I released my sophomore album "The Awakening" and it has also been recognized by The International Singer Songwriters Association which includes winning the 2022 ISSA Female Emerging Artist of The Year Award. My 2022 collaboration "Sistar" with Zemira Israel was GRAMMY®︎ balloted and in consideration for "Song of The Year" and "Record of The Year" with The Recording Academy.
